I want a really unique inspiring photo for my room, so if I find something I'll stick it up here.

I'm sitting at the computer editing a few photos before I go to bed, which needs to be in just a few minutes here, but i wanted to share this song with you.
I'm in love with it. I've known about it for a few months now I guess and my friend Emma brought it to mind since she's recently become obsessed with the musical Singing in the Rain.

Haven't written in awhile...

My thoughts aren't poetic. My thoughts aren't interesting.
But for some reason, writing them out feels good.

Life's good right now. It's crazy, and for the most part more than I can handle or more than I would really like to, but things are going pretty well.
Went to lunch with a few friends today and had a nice time hanging out.
Had a crazy last four days besides that. I won't even state all that I did. It's a long and boring list.
I'm making an album of my fav pictures from the summer on my facebook.
I just found my new fav website, polanoid.net.
I need a great escape though.
My heart hasn't been wanting to be home lately, but I know where it wants to be, and i know it can't get there.

It's starting to feel like summer.

That's both a positive and a negative for me, because I highly dislike hot weather, but then again it is summer and that is usually very enjoyable and all kinda of good things. So I can't complain.

I cannot wait for school to be over, but it feels like it's all dragging on right now.
Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have everything done except for math and spanish (eww), and I'll be doing some extra reading through the summer but that isn't so bad.

I'm excited to start working on Treasure Hunt 2 with the Super Savvy Productions (wow, that sounds so legit), and if you don't know about the movie or this fabulous movie production team check out the youtube account.
Once Iain is back from Israel in a few weeks here I believe we're gonna get going, which means I need to keep working on making camera angle notes and storyboarding where it's needed. Don't tell Iain I'm not done yet x]
It's going to be epic, just wait and see.

Took a few pictures last night cause I stayed home from youth group (I wasn't feeling too well).
They didn't turn out great but they're basically just so I can experiment with colors and whatnot.
This is the only really good one that I've got done so far, if you click it it'll take you to the larger few on flickr.

Time to get back to school work, I'll talk to you all later.

I just gave myself a partial haircut.
I couldn't see before. And now I can. So I consider that a success.

I have scotch tape holding a band-aid between two fingers where I got a paper cut today.
it stings like heck.

Gonna upload some pics from the drive around paso robles and cambra in a sec here once I edit them n stuff.

things are starting to wind down here, and honestly it's pretty nice.

only two or three more chapters left in my school books.
the weather is starting to warm up.
it's time for the last strong push before i can take a break for awhile.

even the music i've been listening to has been more quiet and relaxing.

it's reaaally nice to listen to.

at the moment i am trying to finish up this research paper on Jane Austen.
i'm noticing that the fact that i type with no capitalization is not a good thing.
so from here on out, blog posts will be grammatically correct...starting now.

Ahh, so this is what it feels like to type properly. It doesn't feel that different.

Anyways, so I'm working on this paper and getting rather tired of it honestly. I love Jane Austen, but seriously, research papers suck.
To make it better I've been periodically reading some old emails that I've saved because I love them and they make me smile, so that's helping me not go crazy and pull my hair out and such. I'll probably blast some metal to get all my frustration with this paper out later though, because that's always really fun to do. ^^

I watched August Rush for the first time last night and loooved it.
It's the kind of movie that get's you inspired to start making music, even if you don't.
I used to try and write songs quite a bit a few years ago, but stopped cause I didn't have the patience to finish it, but I might take it up again. I'm also working on my guitar playing a lot, and feel that I'm progressing a bit, but I'm still nowhere near being happy with my playing.

Ahh just came across an email I got from Jessicah awhile ago. It's titled "20 ways to maintain a healthy level of insanity".
Number 7 says, "Finish all your sentences with,...'in accordance with the prophecy.'"
I'm going to start doing that today...in accordance with the prophecy.

Alrighty, almost done with this stinking paper. I better go now. See you all soon, and if not, then I suppose that is our fate....in accordance with the prophecy.

i shouldn't have had all that coffee, i've kinda got a caffeine buzz now o.o

anywaysss.
last night was awesome.
went to youth group, listened great preaching, and had good times with amigos.
i'm starting to get really excited about summer camp (and no, that is not just from the caffeine, i know what you're thinking), dannai and i are already starting to get crazy because of it. last night we reminisced on memorable moments we've had at camp in the years past, and trust me, there's some good ones, though i'm not going to put them on here otherwise we'd receive endless teasing.
all in all i'm actually getting excited for summer this year, i usually don't, but this year is different.
i'll hopefully be working with Super Savvy Productions (that looks so cool and official in italics, wow...) on a few video projects over the summer, which i'm very excited about. i'm the new "director of photography", aka camera man..er...woman. whatever.
and speaking of movies, there's some good ones coming out.
narnia being one of them! so stokedd.
then indiana jones. even more stoked!

there's more to be excited about, but i have to go now, so until next time.

trying to stay chill

i love it when stuff just seems to flow, but lately that's not exactly a word that applies to my life.
i'm learning to be content with where i am, but in no way has that been easy.
the sudden urge to just go travel, see some new places, and explore creation has been on me again and it's really disruptive.
i got offered to go with some friends to japan next year, and hopefully i'll be taking them up on that.

i've been feeling artsy lately too.
i used to do a lot of beading, and my mom wanted to do a painting the other day so we went to a craft store to pick up some supplies for her, and along with that we got some really cool beads for me.
hopefully i'll come up with something cool, we'll see.
as far as photography has been coming, i haven't been shooting very much but when i am, it's been more gentle stuff like flowers and anything nature.
i belong in a forest, seriously.

i'm sitting here listening to my math lesson. zzzzZZZzzz

sorry about not putting up pics from camp. most of you that know about this thing have facebook so just check out my folder on there.
i'll post one that i did a little manip on, just cause i like it.

stuff has been slowly going back uphill for me.
a few situations have been pretty challenging, but God is good and get's me through.
it's humbling, but i know that i can't do this stuff on my own.

the last week has been a week of change.
new hair. new outlook.

this past weekend was winter camp for my youth group, and boy did i need that wake-up call. the theme was "staying the course".
for awhile now i've felt like i haven't been growing in my walk with the Lord, and this weekend woke me up. the growth may be slow, and now that i've taken the time to look at my life and see that it's there, i'm starting to get my focus back, the passion that i love is here again. God is so good. i've been immensely blessed in my life and i'm seeing where i'm needed.
